Palo Alto-based Sonal N. Mehta and Mark Selwyn have, again, been named among the 2024 Top Intellectual Property Lawyers in California by the Daily Journal. The annual list honors an exceptional group of CA-based attorneys whose accomplishments over the past year have made an impact on the field of intellectual property.
Sonal Mehta, Partner-in-Charge of WilmerHale’s Palo Alto office and Vice Chair of the Litigation/Controversy Department, is a dynamic trial lawyer, advocate and strategic counselor that represents several of the world’s leading technology and life sciences companies in high stakes matters. In the profile accompanying the recognition, Mehta highlights some of the substantial IP work she has handled.
For the fifteenth time, Mark Selwyn has been named to the list of Top Intellectual Property Lawyers. As co-chair of the firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation Practice Group, Selwyn has represented many of Silicon Valley’s most prominent technology companies in dozens of patent and other intellectual property cases in federal courts throughout the country and before the International Trade Commission. In his profile, Selwyn, discusses the state of IP today, stating, "This is an interesting time for IP. The word disruption is used a lot, but it applies now as the law tries to catch up with technology and as the Unified Patent Court opens in Europe."
