Recognition

Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly (MLW) has named Counsel Michael Brown and Senior Associate James Bor-Zale to its annual list of the region’s Up & Coming Lawyers. The list recognizes 25 individuals who have distinguished themselves as rising stars in the local legal community within their first ten years of practice.

Brown, whose practice focuses primarily on commercial and securities litigation, has represented clients in a range of complex matters before state and federal courts. He maintains a robust pro bono practice in addition to representing public and private companies and individuals across industries. For the past two years, he has been named to Best Lawyers in America’s exclusive Ones to Watch list, which highlights promising attorneys that have distinguished themselves early in their legal careers.

Bor-Zale is an accomplished attorney who represents a variety of clients on a broad range of litigation matters. Since joining the firm in 2016, he has dedicated significant time to pro bono matters, including representing a human trafficking victim and updating the human trafficking guide for attorneys. Prior to WilmerHale, Bor-Zale clerked for the Honorable Scott L. Kafker of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.

Brown and Bor-Zale were recognized on May 16 during MLW’s Excellence in the Law ceremony at the Revere Hotel in Boston.
