Three WilmerHale attorneys and one legal support professional in the Denver office have been recognized in Law Week Colorado’s “Barrister’s Best” awards. The annual recognition highlights the top attorneys from across the state in various practice areas as selected by the legal community and editors at Law Week Colorado.
- Michael Hazel was named Best Renewable Energy Lawyer, with Law Week Colorado noting that he has represented a major wind-power company through a DOJ investigation into wind turbines’ potential impact on wildlife, as well as providing counsel for an oil and gas company through multiple investigations and lawsuits.
- Chalyse Robinson was named Best Banking Lawyer. Law Week Colorado mentions she was profiled as one of Law Week’s Top Women Lawyers of 2021 and is an active member of her community, offering pro bono work to several local organizations.
- Keith Trammell was named Best Private Equity Lawyer, with Law Week Colorado noting that his “diverse practice in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions and private equity have garnered more than a decade of industry attention and peer recognition.” He was also profile as one of Law Week’s Lawyers of the Year in 2021.
- Cecily Winmill was named Best Legal Support Professional. She has been a legal assistant with WilmerHale for nearly five years.
