Associate Sharon Kelleher Hogue recently joined the New England Legal Foundation’s “Sidebar” program with Judge Dan Winslow, formerly of the Massachusetts trial court, to discuss the threats of viral lies and disinformation to businesses and trends in counter-disinformation litigation. Ms. Hogue co-authored The Rise of Counter-Disinformation Litigation and What It Means for Business, which details how disinformation can affect corporate brands, sales, partnerships, employee and customer retention, physical security, and stockholder activism and the proliferation of litigation around false narratives.
