The Daily Journal has named Partner Sonal Mehta to its list of Top Women Lawyers in California. The annual list recognizes exceptional female lawyers who prove to be leaders in the industry.

A profile in the publication highlights some of Ms. Mehta’s recent victories on behalf of clients. In the profile, she shares that one case came across her desk on her ninth day at the firm, and quick action was required over a weekend. Colleagues from WilmerHale offices across the country pitched in to get it done, with Ms. Mehta noting “it was a remarkable introduction to the firm’s broad-based team approach to jump in selflessly to help a client.”

Based in Palo Alto, Ms. Mehta represents many of the world’s leading technology and life sciences companies in high-stakes patent and technology disputes across a wide range of industries. She currently serves as the president of the Federal Circuit Bar Association.
