Jonathan Yarowsky and Rob Lehman Named to The Hill’s “Top Lobbyists 2019” List

Attorney News

WilmerHale Partner Jonathan Yarowsky and Senior Public Policy Advisor Rob Lehman, co-chairs of the Public Policy and Legislative Affairs Practice, were named to The Hill’s “Top Lobbyists 2019” list.

This year’s list highlights the diverse set of talents required to succeed in the advocacy industry and features a wide variety of professionals at the top of their game.

“The ranks of Washington’s policy experts and influencers run deep, but these are the players who stand out for delivering results for their clients in the halls of Congress and the administration,” said The Hill.

Jonathan Yarowsky, a longtime member of the list, was recognized this year for some of his most recent, noteworthy accomplishments. For example, Mr. Yarowsky represented former FBI Director Robert Mueller for the former Special Counsel’s July appearances before the House Judiciary and Intelligence Committees earlier this year. Additionally, he was chosen by the National Law Journal for its inaugural “Trailblazer, Government Relations” award.

Rob Lehman was also named in this year’s list for his critical efforts in advocating on behalf of US property-casualty insurers to get Congress to close a loophole some insurers exploited to relocate their headquarters to low or no-tax jurisdictions.

Mr. Yarowsky’s unique, extensive knowledge of all three branches of government, along with Mr. Lehman’s intimate background of both chambers of Congress have significantly contributed to the success of the firm’s Public Policy and Legislative Affairs Practice.
