Four WilmerHale Lawyers Win Distinguished Legal Writing Award by the Burton Foundation

Partners Jason Chipman, Reed Freeman, Todd Zubler and Senior Associate Allison Aviki were honored with the Burton Foundation’s 2019 Law360 Distinguished Legal Writing Award at The 2019 Burton Awards event at the Library of Congress held on May 20. The award was received in recognition of their December 14, 2018 Bloomberg Law article, “Monitoring Mobility—The Current and Future Regulatory Landscape for Advanced Automotive Tech.”

William Burton, founder and chair of the awards program, said of this year’s awardees, “The winners are outstanding, highly skilled and effective writers. The Law360 Writing Awards winners have now taught a new and even higher standard of excellence.”

The Burton Foundation gives out the award annually in association with the Library of Congress. Honorees are selected by judges and professors from Harvard Law School, Stanford Law School and UC Berkeley Law School, among others.
