WilmerHale Advises Kadant in Agreement to Acquire Syntron

Kadant Inc., a leading global supplier of equipment and critical components used in process industries (NYSE: KAI), announced on Monday, December 10, 2018, it will acquire Syntron Material Handling Group, LLC and certain of its affiliates, for $179 million in cash. Syntron is a leading provider of material handling equipment and systems to various process industries, including mining, aggregates, food processing, packaging, and pulp and paper. 

The WilmerHale team representing Kadant in the acquisition is led by Hal Leibowitz and includes Keith Barnett, Andrew Bonnes, Robert Burke, Jamie Class, Leon Greenfield, Jeff Johnson, Scott Kilgore, Hartmut Schneider, Meghan Walsh, Mona Shin, Cara Fonseca, Lauren Ige, Will Myer and Edward Sharon
