WilmerHale Announces 2016 Pickering Fellow

Firm News

Senior Associate Fred Kemper has been selected as WilmerHale's 2016 Pickering Fellow. Kemper, based in Boston, is a member of the Securities Litigation and Enforcement and Business Trial Groups.

Kemper will begin his six-month fellowship at the Medical-Legal Partnership for Children at Boston Medical Center (MLPC) on May 16. Through the MLPC, pediatric clinicians work with lawyers to ensure that families can meet their children's basic needs by addressing non-biological factors known to influence child health, such as food, housing, education and safety.

WilmerHale created the Pickering Fellowship Program in honor of John Pickering, a founding partner of the firm who inspired generations of lawyers with his commitment to the public interest. The fellowship gives attorneys from the firm's US offices the opportunity to spend six months working at select public interest organizations.
