NAFCU hosted an intensive, five-day course, created by credit union professionals for credit union professionals and designed especially for those seeking the NCCO certification. The curriculum for the Regulatory Compliance School was compromised of five sections, covering lending, discrimination issues, share accounts, privacy and security. Attendees had the opportunity to hear from industry experts as they detailed multiple topics within these sections, including Regulation Z (new Credit CARD Act rules), NCUA's credit practices rule, lending to military personnel, fair lending rules and the Bank Secrecy Act.

WilmerHale counsel Andrew Lorentz was a featured speaker at this event. He spoke on the topic of "Electronic Funds Transfer Act - Regulation E."
