LearnLaunch: Incorporating Your Ed Tech Startup

LearnLaunch: Incorporating Your Ed Tech Startup

Speaking Engagement
Do you know how best to structure your ed tech startup to avoid costly mistakes? As you begin to form your company, come learn about the different types of entities (i.e. for-profit and nonprofit subsidiaries) and the longer-term implications of initial incorporation decisions.

You will also learn about Massachusetts benefit corporations or B corps, a new type of business entity created in August 2012, which allows a company to apply for a designation to promote some kind of public benefit in addition to maximizing shareholder profits.

This class will be highly interactive and limited to 30 students to ensure that you have ample time to both interact with the instructors and your peers.

Gary Schall will be hosting this event.
