Harvard Asia Business Conference 2013: Uncertainty and Opportunity

Speaking Engagement

The Harvard Asia Business Conference is an annual gathering jointly organized by three student organizations at the Harvard Business School. The conference aims to foster meaningful discussion on policies and trends that dominate the business and legal institutions of modern Asia. This year's conference will focus on "Uncertainty and Opportunity."

As advanced economies around the world continue to recover from the worldwide recession, the shift of global economic activity to Asia is accelerating. Not only are international companies increasingly expanding into Asian markets, but Asia-based companies are finding abundant opportunities and strengthening their networks as well. While companies entering and expanding in Asia must be aware of the government and business uncertainty and volatility, those that can navigate these risks will benefit tremendously from the opportunities that Asia’s growth provides.
