EU Competition Law and Policy Workshop

EU Competition Law and Policy Workshop

Speaking Engagement

This workshop will reflect on the evolution of European competition law from a time when the ‘more economics’-based orientation was just emerging to a time when—though still (sometimes hotly) contested—that approach is increasingly taken for granted; from a time when fines were ‘gentle slaps’ to a time when they have become severe reprimands; and from a time before the ‘competition culture’ concept took root to the consensual view today that promoting competitive markets is generally beneficial.

WilmerHale Partner John Ratliff will present "Article 101: What is a restriction of competition?" at this event.
