Join us on October 9 for a one-hour webinar on the long-awaited Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) rule implementing the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program, which will become applicable to defense contracts and subcontracts starting November 10, 2025. This session will provide practical tips for defense contractors and subcontractors on how to navigate CMMC Program requirements, along with key considerations from an enforcement perspective.
Join WilmerHale lawyers as they discuss major areas of continuity and change, including:.
- the timeline for implementation and phased rollout;
- the three-tiered CMMC verification system and what each level requires;
- practical steps to prepare, including self-assessments, updating Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS) scores and managing external service providers; and
- the evolution of cybersecurity standards and enforcement efforts, including recent enforcement actions under the False Claims Act that offer lessons for contractors and subcontractors.
During the webinar, participants will have the opportunity to contribute questions online. This program is being prepared with the intention to offer CLE credit for attendees who join the live presentation.
