Defense tech companies face a competitive market with both established and emerging companies seeking to win government contracts. Bid protests, especially on high-value or otherwise significant contracts, have become a fact of life in government contracting. Winning a bid protest—or successfully defending against one—is a high-stakes endeavor.

Our webinar series on the legal challenges faced by emerging defense tech companies continues with a webinar on The Defense Tech Edge: Key Considerations for Bid Protests.

WilmerHale Partner Seth Locke and Counsel Julia Fox, moderated by Partner Erik Swabb, will discuss bid protests of solicitations and awards for government contracts, including key considerations for defense tech companies. The session will provide insights and practical guidance on several bid protest topics, including:

  • deciding whether (and where) to file a bid protest;
  • the types of procurement issues that companies can challenge;
  • timing considerations; and
  • the nuts and bolts of litigating a bid protest.

During the webinar, participants will have the opportunity to contribute questions online. This program is being planned with the intention to offer CLE credit for attendees who join the live presentation.

*CLE credit is not available for those who watch a recording of the webinar.
