Pro Bono Attorney Dia Omasonte will speak on a panel at the 2026 POWER Act Webinar for District Courts in the Ninth Circuit, at the invitation of the Honorable Jon S. Tigar of the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
The program is organized pursuant to the Pro Bono Work to Empower and Represent (POWER) Act of 2018, through which federal district court judges annually promote pro bono legal services for survivors of domestic violence. Dia will address engaging law firm lawyers in pro bono work supporting survivors of domestic abuse and sexual assault, joining a panel of lawyers and service providers examining the challenges survivors face in navigating the legal system.
The webinar is free and open to all attorneys, and California CLE credit will be provided. The registration deadline is Friday, September 4, 2026.
