WilmerHale Partners Michael Held and Matthew Kulkin will be speaking at the Institute of International Bankers’ Internal Audit Seminar. Michael Held will be presenting the keynote address, and Matthew Kulkin will be moderating the panel “A Third Pair of Eyes: Internal Audit Review of Broker Dealer Compliance Risks” with representatives from Santander, Commerzbank and DLA LLC.
The Internal Audit Seminar will include panels covering the role of Internal Audit in reviewing all aspects of credit risk, including the new Current Effective Credit Loss methodology; the unique risks presented by broker dealer activities, such as market/trade surveillance and record keeping rules; assessing operational resilience, cybersecurity and third party risk management in a global enterprise; and in-depth discussions with regulators on the regulatory outlook and supervisory expectations for foreign banks.
