The Thought Leader Summit will include a panel discussion focusing on strategies after denial of institution or a final written decision, and lively round table discussions with APJs to discuss Director Vidal‘s decisions and guidance since becoming the Director, post-grant and litigation coordination strategies and pitfalls, motions to amend, ways to handle applicant admitted prior art, strategies surrounding sur-replies and new exhibits, as well as other timely topics.

As part of the summit, WilmerHale Senior Associate Jonathan Knight, PhD, will moderate one in a series of interactive table discussions focusing on USPTO Director Kathi Vidal’s decisions and guidance since being confirmed to the position in April 2022.
