On February 13, Partner Naboth van den Broek spoke at the Munich Security Conference’s inaugural International Law Forum, participating in a panel titled “WTO Stalemate, Trade Wars and Economic Sanctions: It Is Always Darkest Before the Dawn.” Other speakers included Professor Hong Zhao, chair of the World Trade Organization’s Appellate Body; Professor August Reinisch of the International Law Commission; Judge Bruno Simma, former judge of the International Court of Justice and currently sitting on the Iran-US Claims Tribunal; and several others.
