MFA Legal & Compliance 2019 provides a one day agenda focused on comprehensive, practical applications for the implementation of and compliance with regulatory reforms impacting hedge funds and their investors. The speaking faculty is comprised of regulators, former regulators and chief compliance officers and attorneys who collectively engage in a dynamic dialogue to provide practical advice on the most current regulatory compliance issues. The agenda is designed specifically by an advisory board of the industry’s leading general counsels and chief compliance officers. All panels are moderated by MFA member general counsels and chief compliance officers and feature top outside legal counsel as well as select industry experts who are leaders in their respective fields. Conference delegates are typically legal and compliance professionals and MFA applies for CLE credits for all qualified sessions.
On Wednesday, April 24 from 4:20pm – 5:00pm ET, WilmerHale Partner Elizabeth Mitchell will moderate the fireside keynote chat, “SEC and CFTC Harmonization Efforts,” which will feature SEC Commissioner Hester M. Pierce and CFTC Commissioner Brian D. Quintenz.
