Dharshini Prasad spoke on two panels at the 10th anniversary conference of the Chinese-European Arbitration Centre in Hamburg on September 13–14. The conference was titled “China’s Belt and Road Initiative—Opportunities and Challenges for International Dispute Resolution and Contracting.” Ms. Prasad's panels discussed common and civil law approaches and perspectives on the UNIDROIT principles and international arbitral procedure, with Ms. Prasad touching on common law. Her fellow panelists included practitioners and academics from a number of jurisdictions, including China, the US, Egypt and Germany.
