Dr. Hiroshi Miyashita, Brussels Privacy Hub Visiting Scholar, and Professor Christopher Kuner will be hosting a workshop that considers data protection in the EU and Japan. The workshop will consider two main topics i) the EU Data Protection Regulation and the impact on Japanese business and ii) the enforcement of the GDPR and the role of DPA's. Dr Miyashita and Professor Kuner will be joined by Takeshige Sugimoto, Senior Associate at WilmerHale who will discuss the impact of the GDPR on business.
