June 29, 2017

From coast to coast, WilmerHale continues to be recognized as a top place to work. Most recently, The Washington Post and Bay Area News named the firm a Top Workplace based solely on results of an employee feedback survey administered by WorkplaceDynamics, LLC, a leading research firm that specializes in organizational health and workplace improvement. Several aspects of workplace culture were measured, including local and overall leadership, compensation and training, and workplace flexibility, and diversity.

This is the third consecutive year WilmerHale's Washington DC office has been recognized by The Washington Post. This year, a total of 170 companies were honored in three categories based on headcount: large, midsize and small workplaces. The firm ranked second out of a total of 20 large companies and is the only law firm listed. With more than 400 attorneys, the Washington DC office is one of the largest in the metropolitan area and is the largest office within the firm.

Bay Area News featured the firm's Palo Alto, California, office for the fourth consecutive year. Since its opening in 2005, the firm's Palo Alto office has grown to more than 100 employees, 62 of whom are attorneys who practice in a wide range of areas, including litigation, corporate, securities, intellectual property, technology licensing and fund formation.

The Washington Post hosted an awards ceremony at their headquarters in Washington DC on Thursday, June 15 to recognize the 170 top-ranked companies. The Bay Area News event was held on Thursday, June 22 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
