Lisak, Jessica Giglia

Jessica Lisak represents public companies and financial institutions and their officers and directors in connection with government investigations and securities litigation in state and federal courts. 

Ms. Lisak recently represented a large financial services company in litigation and related investigations brought by the Securities and Exchange Commission, Department of Justice, and other state and federal agencies for claims related to breach of contract and fiduciary duty and federal securities laws. She has also represented a public pharmaceutical company in a securities class action alleging violation of federal securities laws.

Ms. Lisak maintains an active pro bono practice, and coordinates WilmerHale's biannual legal clinics in partnership with the Massachusetts Lawyers Clearinghouse. Through these clinics, she has successfully helped clients apply for asylum, seal criminal records, resolve outstanding warrants, obtain public benefits, and appeal the denial of such benefits.

Past Experience

Prior to joining WilmerHale, Ms. Lisak interned at the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office and the United States Attorney's Office in Boston. 

Honors & Awards

Ms. Lisak was selected by the Boston Bar Association as a member of the 2017-2018 Public Interest Leadership Program, a 14-month program that addresses specific public service and community challenges. In 2017, she was named a Massachusetts Super Lawyers "Rising Star" for securities litigation.
