U.S. News Media Group and Best Lawyers have released the 2013 “Best Law Firms” rankings, naming Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP as “Law Firm of the Year” in International Arbitration.

Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP was the only recipient of the “Law Firm of the Year” designation in International Arbitration – Commercial. The “Law Firm of the Year” recognition is part of the annual U.S. News and Best Lawyers“Best Law Firms” rankings, the results of which are based on feedback from clients and leading lawyers when asked to evaluate the best law firms in their practice area, and will be featured in the November print issue of U.S. News & World Report, available on November 20. According to U.S. News and Best Lawyers’ research the firm was found to have impressive overall performance and earned a significant showing in the 2013 “Best Law Firms” initiative.

Earlier this year, the Global Arbitration Review’s elite GAR 30 included WilmerHale’s International Arbitration Group among the top five practices in the world.

The firm has been involved in more than 600 proceedings in the recent years.
