WilmerHale Recognized by the Asian American Civic Association for Pro Bono Contributions

Firm News
On June 13, WilmerHale was presented with the Community Service Award at the Asian American Civic Association’s (AACA) Annual Gala in Boston. This marks the first time that the AACA has presented this honor and WilmerHale was selected as the first recipient for the legal services that the firm provided to the AACA’s capital campaign.

“The AACA feels fortunate to have a long standing partnership with WilmerHale and deeply appreciates the invaluable legal assistance WilmerHale has provided to AACA with our new building and the Boston community over many years,” said Liem Tran, Director of Development at the AACA.

Since 1967 the AACA has provided limited English speaking and economically disadvantaged people with education, occupational training and social services, enabling them to realize lasting economic self-sufficiency. Originally the AACA was established as a response to the cultural and economic needs of Chinese Americans, but now serves immigrants and refugees of all ethnicities. Click here to learn more.
