The American Lawyer ranked WilmerHale fourth on its annual A-List. The list, which debuted in 2002, features the top 20 elite firms and is one of the legal industry’s most widely watched rankings. This marks the 19th year that WilmerHale has been named as one of the most successful law firms in the nation.

The A-List ranks firms based on their average score across five key metrics, including revenue per lawyer, associate satisfaction, diversity, pro bono work and the percentage of female equity partners. WilmerHale’s high score and ranking are a testament to its culture, pro bono work and commitment to diversity equity and inclusion.

According to The American Lawyer, this year’s list highlights firms that “are proving doing well for multiple stakeholders can lead to true success.” Furthermore, it states that the defining trait of the top 20 firms is consistency. The publication specifically spotlights WilmerHale as one of only eight firms to consecutively rank among the top ten.
