Kimberly Wethly Named a Go To Taxation Lawyer by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly

Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly (MLW) has named Kimberly Wethly to its annual list of Go To Lawyers, which showcases leaders in the Massachusetts legal community by practice area.

Wethly, who chairs WilmerHale’s Tax Practice, was nominated by her peers based on her extensive experience advising public and private companies, as well as corporate executives, boards of directors and compensation committees. MLW highlights the breadth of Wethly’s work in her feature profile, noting that she has gained wide recognition throughout her 25-year career. She frequently advises corporate clients in connection with mergers and acquisitions, spinoffs, formation, financings, restructurings and public offerings. Her practice also encompasses equity compensation, nonqualified deferred compensation, incentive plans, and executive, retention, severance and change-in-control agreements.

In addition to maintaining a robust taxation practice, Wethly is active in the legal community. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Boston Bar Association and the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals.
