WilmerHale Announces 2017 Pickering Fellow

Firm News

Senior Associate Nana Wilberforce has been selected as WilmerHale's 2017 Pickering fellow. Wilberforce, based in Washington DC, is a member of the Antitrust and Competition Practice.

Wilberforce will begin her fellowship at the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund (LDF) in New York this week. Through litigation, advocacy and public education, LDF seeks structural changes to expand democracy, eliminate disparities and achieve racial justice.

WilmerHale created the Pickering Fellowship Program in honor of John Pickering, a founding partner of the firm who inspired generations of lawyers with his commitment to the public interest. The fellowship gives lawyers from the firm's US offices the opportunity to spend six months working at select public interest organizations.
