Crain's New York Names WilmerHale a Best Place to Work

Firm News

For the second consecutive year, Crain's New York has ranked WilmerHale a Best Place to Work, recognizing the firm's New York presence and profound commitments in maintaining a workplace atmosphere of collegiality and collaboration. WilmerHale is one of only eight law firms to make this year's top 100 list.

The list recognizes New York businesses that have a profound commitment for their workers' happiness and strive to enhance the workplace environment through a variety of opportunities. The results are based on confidential employee surveys that measure leadership, compensation and training.

As stated by Crain's New York, WilmerHale has "gone the distance in creating an atmosphere of collegiality, collaboration and caring."

More than 200 employees—both attorneys and staff—work in the firm's New York office and focus primarily on securities regulation and enforcement, intellectual property, patent and trademark litigation, trial and appellate litigation, white collar defense, corporate, bankruptcy and financial institutions.

Outside of client work, the office carries a philanthropic reputation with a community partnership with Sanctuary for Families. In addition to an annual financial gift since 2011, lawyers serve on the Pro Bono Council and take numerous pro bono matters ranging from orders of protection to Hague Convention litigation.
