Zachary D. Hardwick

Senior Associate

Zachary D. Hardwick concentrates his practice on government and internal investigations, regulatory enforcement and complex litigation matters. Zachary has experience representing clients in civil investigations and enforcement actions, including matters involving anti-money laundering, fraud and regulatory inquiries conducted by the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the US Department of Justice (DOJ).  He also maintains an active pro bono practice, with a focus on criminal justice and juvenile advocacy. He was previously a Summer Associate and John A. Payton Fellow through the WilmerHale/NAACP Legal Defense Fund. 

Before rejoining the firm as an associate, Mr. Hardwick clerked for Judge Duane Benton on the US Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit and held internships at the US Attorney’s Office for the District of Kansas and the Missouri Court of Appeals for the Western District. He also worked as a consultant in the Government & Public Services practice of a major management consulting firm, specializing in strategy and analytics.
