Senior Associate

Thais Ridgeway is a senior associate who represents clients in a wide variety of complex civil and regulatory litigation. She has experience defending institutional and individual clients in federal court, state court, and matters before administrative tribunals, at all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, trial, and appeal.

Ms. Ridgeway joined the firm after serving as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Laura Taylor Swain, Chief Judge of the US District Court for the Southern District of New York. Prior to her clerkship, Ms. Ridgeway worked for several years as an Assistant Corporation Counsel at the New York City Law Department. She handled complex civil litigation, including class action practice, brought against the City of New York, city government agencies, and elected public officials.

Ms. Ridgeway currently serves in the United States Army Reserve Judge Advocate General’s Corps as a Special Victims Counsel. She is the current Vice Chair of the National Bar Association’s Veterans and Military Law Section.
