Samantha Birkenfeld-Malpass focuses her practice on complex litigation matters.
Prior to joining WilmerHale, Ms. Birkenfeld-Malpass was an original programming business and legal affairs intern at Starz Entertainment where she organized and created give books for different levels of above-the-line talent; created agreement templates to be used by other Starz counsel; and drafted and edited location, production and above-the-line talent agreements.
Previously, she was a cable legal affairs intern with NBCUniversal and was responsible for drafting various agreements as well as researching, analyzing, and organizing scripted cable projects containing underlying rights.
Ms. Birkenfeld-Malpass was a summer associate at WilmerHale in 2015, and, in 2014, she served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Stephen Hillman of the US District Court for the Central District of California.
