Molly Dillaway is a senior associate in the Washington, DC office. As a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Government & Regulatory Litigation groups, she represents clients in variety of complex commercial and government-facing litigation matters. Her practice focuses on multi-front consumer-protection disputes, with experience defending companies in nationwide class actions, investigations and enforcement actions brought by state Attorneys General and other regulators, and related complex civil litigation. She has represented clients across a broad range of industries, including education, energy, financial services, health care, pharmaceuticals, social media, and technology. Her matters routinely involve claims arising under state unfair and deceptive trade practices statutes, the False Claims Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and related statutory and common law causes of action.

Ms. Dillaway also maintains an active pro bono practice, with a focus on reproductive rights and prisoner’s rights. 

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Dillaway worked as an intern for the United States Department of Justice Civil Division in its National Courts Section, focusing on commercial litigation matters before the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the United States Court of Federal Claims, and the United States Court of International Trade. Prior to law school, Ms. Dillaway served as a senior project assistant at WilmerHale in which she supported all phases of the litigation process and government and internal investigations.
