Molly Silva focuses her practice on complex environmental litigation and regulatory enforcement matters. She has litigated matters in trial and appellate courts at the federal and state levels. Ms. Silva has represented clients in pharmaceutical, real estate, technology, engineering services  and other industries.  She has experience in toxic tort, CERCLA, Clean Water Act, and Clean Air Act claims and defense.

While pursuing her legal education, Ms. Silva was a law clerk at another firm in Los Angeles and worked in the Public Defender’s Office in Los Angeles County. 

Ms. Silva is the Chair of the Board of Directors of Restorative Community Solutions, a California-based non-profit that provides trauma-informed services to individuals transitioning back into society from institutional settings.

Experience

    • Represented Tetra Tech defending False Claims Act and mass tort actions alleging falsification of data at Superfund site 
    • Represented pharmaceutical stewardship entity in regulatory and enforcement proceedings before CalRecycle regarding California requirements for covered drugs and sharps takeback programs, including reporting and user “convenience standard” requirements.
