Michaela Olson focuses her practice on complex litigation matters and government and internal investigations. She maintains an active pro bono practice, with a focus on civil rights, immigration, and reproductive rights. She began her career at the firm as a summer associate in 2022.

Prior to rejoining the firm, Ms. Olson was a law clerk to the Honorable Paul L. Friedman of the US District Court for the District of Columbia. While in law school, she was a student attorney in the Pediatric Advocacy Clinic, a research assistant for Professor Leah M. Litman, and a judicial intern for the Honorable John D. Bates. Prior to law school, she worked for the US Department of Justice in its Civil Rights Division, where she was a paralegal and investigator in the Immigrant and Employee Rights Section.
