Max Horvath focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, class action litigation and securities litigation and enforcement. He has represented public companies, privately held entities and individual officers and directors in federal and state litigation and federal and state regulatory investigations.

Mr. Horvath also maintains an active pro bono practice. Recently, he obtained a significant sentence reduction in federal district court for a client serving an extended prison sentence for a non-violent marijuana offense. He has also obtained favorable resolutions on behalf of clients in immigration proceedings.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Horvath clerked for the Honorable George O’Toole of the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts. During law school, he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Food and Drug Law Journal at Georgetown University Law Center and he worked as a judicial intern for the Honorable Patti Saris of the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts and the Honorable Paul Friedman of the US District Court for the District of Columbia. He was a summer associate at WilmerHale in 2020.
