Matthew Phelps focuses his practice on complex technology disputes. Mr. Phelps represents technology companies in patent, trade secret and copyright litigation matters. He has appeared in federal district courts, the US International Trade Commission under Section 337, and before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. He has litigated a wide range of technologies including semiconductor devices and manufacturing, analog circuits, memory modules, vehicle battery systems, mobile devices, displays, operating systems, media streaming and electronic design automation software. 

Previously, Mr. Phelps worked as a software architect in electronic design automation focused on full‑custom digital, analog, mixed‑signal and RF integrated circuits. His industry experience informs his approach to matters that require a detailed understanding of design tools, circuit design and semiconductor fabrication.
