Joshua L. Mogil provides strategic counsel to clients responding to corporate crises, internal and government-facing investigations, and complex litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Mogil worked in compliance and risk management at Capital One, as a political appointee at the US Department of Justice, and as a Payton Fellow at the NAACP Legal Defense Fund. He also served in various roles at the White House, US Agency for International Development and US Department of State.  After law school, Mr. Mogil clerked on the US Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and on the US District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. He presently serves as board director and President of the LGBTQ+ Bar Association of DC and previously served as national co-chair of Lawyers for Biden.
