Senior Associate

Jose Valenzuela focuses on complex litigation matters. He has particular focus on federal district court litigation but has experience before federal agencies and regulators. Mr. Valenzuela is also actively involved in the firm’s Latin America practice, using his native Spanish to assist clients with critical issues concerning the region.

Mr. Valenzuela is also actively involved with the firm’s pro bono practice, with particular focus on representing noncitizens seeking asylum and other immigration benefits

While in law school, Mr. Valenzuela served as a teaching assistant for the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School course “Corporate Ethics and Social Responsibility,” taught by Vice Dean and Director Diana C. Robertson. He also worked as a law clerk in the Office of the General Counsel of international insurance company Willis Towers Watson and as a business representative for the Teamsters Local 890 chapter in Salinas, California.
