Senior Associate

Jose Valenzuela focuses on complex litigation matters. He joined WilmerHale as an associate in 2019. 

While in law school, Mr. Valenzuela served as a teaching assistant for the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School course “Corporate Ethics and Social Responsibility,” taught by Vice Dean and Director Diana C. Robertson. He also worked as a law clerk in the Office of the General Counsel of international insurance company Willis Towers Watson and as a business representative for the Teamsters Local 890 chapter in Salinas, California. 

Mr. Valenzuela served as the vice-president of the Latin American Law Students Association and as a volunteer with the Employment Advocacy Project. He also competed in the Georgetown National White Collar Invitational Mock Trial and the Estrella Trial Advocacy Competition in Puerto Rico.

Before entering law school, Mr. Valenzuela worked as a volunteer paralegal and an office assistant at the Riverside County Office of the District Attorney in California.
