Jungyeon (John) Kim

Technology Specialist

John Kim is a technology specialist whose practice focuses on the preparation and prosecution of domestic, international and foreign patent applications. Mr. Kim works with a variety of clients, such as those in the technology industry, including the engineering and computer technology sectors. In addition to patent prosecution and counseling, Mr. Kim assists lawyers in conducting scientific journal and patent searching, preparation of patentability, validity, freedom to operate, and infringement opinions, as well as analyses of issues that arise in patent litigation matters. 

Mr. Kim is currently pursuing his JD degree from Santa Clara University School of Law.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Kim was a hardware design engineer with Supermicro Computer Inc., where he designed and developed server hardware products and firmware. Previously, he was a summer associate at another law firm in Palo Alto and a Fundamentals of EE, Mechatronic Design teaching assistant at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.
