Emily Gruener represents senior executives and companies in government-facing investigations, litigation, and internal investigations. She first joined WilmerHale as a summer associate in 2020. Prior to rejoining the firm, she clerked for the Honorable Sidney H. Stein of the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.

Emily is a graduate with honors from The University of Texas at Austin and a 2020 graduate of Stanford Law School where she served on the Stanford Law Review, participated in advocacy work involving victims of domestic violence, and was a summer legal intern for the Public Integrity Section of the US Department of Justice’s Criminal Division.

She previously worked as a senior analyst at a multinational consulting company in its management consulting practice and state and local government sector.
