Ellen Stephano

Senior Associate

Ellen Stephano focuses her practice on complex litigation matters. She began her career at WilmerHale as a summer associate in 2021. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Stephano clerked for the Honorable Gustavo A. Gelpí of the US Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.

Ms. Stephano has a wealth of legal experience throughout Massachusetts. While in law school, she worked as a Rule 3:03 certified student prosecutor at the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, where she represented the Commonwealth at various stages of prosecution. She also interned with the Civil Division of the US Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts in the Asset Recovery and Defensive Litigation units.

Before attending law school, Ms. Stephano worked as a victim-witness advocate, first with the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office and then with the Massachusetts Office of the Attorney General.
