Andrew Nell focuses his practice on complex litigation matters. Prior to joining WilmerHale, Mr. Nell clerked for Judge Karen L. Henderson of the US Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit and for Judges T.S. Ellis III and David J. Novak of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.

While in law school, Mr. Nell served as an online editor of the Virginia Law Review, a Research Assistant for Professor Danielle Citron, and President of the Law, Innovation, Security & Technology (LIST) student organization. Mr. Nell also participated in the University of Virginia’s appellate litigation clinic, where he briefed and argued cases before the Fourth and DC Circuits. 

Mr. Nell has authored several articles on constitutional rights and the scope of congressional authority and served for eight years in the Marine Corps Reserve.
