Akshat Shekhar focuses his practice on complex litigation matters. He began his career at WilmerHale as a summer associate in 2021.

During law school, Mr. Shekhar worked as a summer associate at another law firm in Washington DC and completed the Summer Law Intern Program with the Commercial Litigation Branch of the US Department of Justice’s Civil Division. He also served as a research assistant to professors of constitutional law and white-collar criminal law. Mr. Shekhar was named a Chae Fellow of the Chae Initiative in Private Sector Leadership and Student Research Fellow for the Solomon Center for Health Law and Policy. Before pursuing a law degree, Mr. Shekhar worked in finance as a private equity associate and investment banking analyst.
