Adam Gillenwater focuses his practice on complex litigation matters. 

While in law school, Mr. Gillenwater served as a law clerk in the Environmental Defense Section of the US Department of Justice’s Environment & Natural Resources Division and was a zoning code analyst for the National Zoning Atlas, a collaborative, academic‑led national mapping project.

Prior to law school, Mr. Gillenwater held policy and advocacy roles at two land conservation organizations, the Piedmont Environmental Council and the American Battlefield Trust. He also worked as a senior associate at a large, international consulting firm.
