Blake Sweat represents clients in high-stakes government investigations and litigation.  He advises companies, boards, and individuals in a wide array of matters before the Securities and Exchange Commission, Commodity Futures Trading Commission, Federal Trade Commission, state attorneys general, and other regulatory agencies, and has experience managing sensitive internal investigations and high-profile corporate crises involving complex, multi-agency scrutiny.

Mr. Sweat also maintains an active sports betting and gaming practice, representing operators, technology providers, and investors in connection with licensing, compliance, and regulatory strategy across multiple jurisdictions.  His experience includes advising clients on integrity controls, product design, marketing and advertising, and regulator engagement, helping them operate and innovate confidently in a rapidly evolving market.

Prior to joining the firm, he served as assistant attorney general in the Public Advocacy Division of the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia, experience that informs his strategic, practical approach to interacting with regulators. 

During law school, Mr. Sweat was a Student Honors Program legal extern in the Division of Corporation Finance of the Securities and Exchange Commission and served as a Janet D. Steiger fellow in the Office of the Arkansas Attorney General.
