WilmerHale Partner David Ogden participated as a speaker in a panel about reforms to The False Claims Act (FCA). The event was hosted by the Law & Economics Center at George Mason University School of Law and was held on Capitol Hill in the Rayburn House Office Building on Friday, December 6.
The panel discussion focused on the issues surrounding the FCA and whether or not reform of the law is necessary. During the panel, Ogden stated that the reforms "would provide more incentives for companies to initially be compliant and officially report fraud."
Earlier that day, Ogden spoke in an interview with Federal News Radio about the proposals for reforming the FCA and what impact those reforms may have on the industry. Listen to the full interview.
