Partner Michael Summersgill was named to the Boston Business Journal’s 2009 “40 Under 40” list. The October 2nd issue of the Boston Business Journal profiles 40 of the ‘best and brightest’ individuals under the age of 40, within Massachusetts’ innovative business and nonprofit communities.

Summersgill is a member of WilmerHale’s Litigation/Controversy Department and also the chair of the Boston Hiring Committee. Since joining the firm in 1996, his primary focus has been patent litigation. He has litigated cases in a wide variety of business disputes and tried cases in federal courts across the country and argued appeals to the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the Ninth Circuit.
