WilmerHale continued to climb the AmLaw 100, which ranks the top-grossing law firms in the United States. The firm rose to 18th in gross revenue in 2009, from 21st in 2008, and to 13th in revenue per lawyer in 2009, from 16th in 2008.

The AmLaw 100 is reported by staff members at ALM (American Lawyer Media) publications throughout the United States. It measures firms in four key categories: gross revenue, head count, revenue per lawyer and profits per equity partner. WilmerHale ranked 25th in number of lawyers, 34th in partner compensation, 53rd in profits per partner, and 37th in value per lawyer.
